Everyone says your life changes forever. I never believed it and always said that my kids would have to fit into my life instead of the other way around. I was wrong. It changes everything and your perspective on life changes. You can be as ready as ever, but it still changes you. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I just want to give you my heart-felt congratulations. My wife and I just had our first child (a boy) exactly 1 month ago today... It's life-changing but a tremendous joy.

I wonder how your web site will adjust to the new frame of mind that is sure to come with the birth of your son. Maybe we'll see more parenting articles?

In regards to the article: "How this election could change the meaning of masculinity in America". I am of the opinion you need to read other's viewpoints to challenge how you see the world but I disagree with the tone of the article.

I would suggest the author is a 'quisling', - a man who is aiding the feminazi cause after having had his masculinity suppressed. I think that women need to be treated decently, but for me at least, Feminazism has done nothing to promote the general well-being of women. Rather they are being encouraged to neglect the traits that make women valuable (as mothers and wives) in favour of attempting to pursue stereotyped male behaviour.

I thought I came across the suggestion that those who were out the front of the feminazi movement were angered at the actions of their fathers (running off and leaving their mothers to raise children on their own), and tried to punish all men as a result of this action.

Talk of McCain or Bush et al representing masculinity is a false argument. The author has gotten the fact that these people are males (albeit juveniles in a mature body) mixed up with manliness suggests, to me, the author is ignorant of that which he speaks.

This blog is great because it is trying to emphasis the qualities that make a male into a man through responsibility to himself, his family, and the community in which he lives.
